Tell Me Something Good - July 16, 2021

Weekly Rally Room Recap

Pederson’s Natural Farms believes that to be truly good, you have to do good too. That’s why we’ve pledged to provide at least 1.5 million* meals this year through Feeding America. Food insecurity affects as many as 1 in 7 Americans, and that’s just not something we can ignore. Our core values are the driving force behind everything we do. Please watch this video to learn more, and then join us by donating to help those in your community.

*$1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local member food banks. Meal claim valid as of 7/1/2020 and subject to change.

COWBOY LIFE: Living the cowboy life on the open frontier took a special kind of person. Driving cattle over rough and unknown terrain, leaving behind family, and sleeping under a starry sky.

Cowboys followed a code of respect and integrity, a commitment to hard work, and loyalty to each other and their keep. Pederson’s Natural Farms is run by a couple of good ‘ole Texas cowboys: Cody Lane and Neil Dudley.

They’ve been best friends since kindergarten and run the business by those same cowboy principles today. So go ahead, dust off those boots, and tip your hat to all the cowboys and cowgirls in your life in honor of National Day of the Cowboy!

What summer is complete without a tasty hot dog fresh off the grill? But it’s got to be Pederson's hot dogs, of course. July is National Hot Dog Month, and we think that our hot dogs are worth celebrating. Made with 100% grass-fed beef, no added sugar, and no synthetic nitrates or nitrites - they’re everything you want and nothing you don’t. So put some on the grill and invite a few friends over. Or, you can keep them all to yourself, like our friend Austin did:

“Finally, a hot dog that doesn't have all the junk. Stocking up on our favorite hot dog for a camping trip in a couple of weeks. This has become a camping essential!”

Thanks, Austin! If you decide to share any with friends, be sure to send them our way!
