Now, I want to go ahead and let you know that we’re working with what we have, and encourage you to do the same. This one is simple, we had a 5oz bag of 50/50 spring mix and a few tomatoes that we decided to pair with a few strips of Pederson’s Hickory Smoked Bacon. For dressing we went with a high powered jalapeno ranch, but feel free to substitute whatever you’d like to make this your own. We recommend one piece of bacon for each ounce of salad, but for a higher dose of protein don’t be afraid to kick it up!
So, super simple! This can be ready to serve in 15 minutes. We cooked the bacon on our outdoor griddle, because the weather’s perfect and we love the way it comes out.
After you cook your bacon (make sure it’s crispy!) go ahead and chop it up as small as you’d like, and get ready to mix your salad.
So, there you have it. This can be served instantly, or sealed in a container and thrown in the fridge to serve later - but don’t wait too long as the greens will start to wilt!
