Wrap each onion with one slice of bacon, carefully keeping the overlapping to a minimum. If needed, secure each one with a toothpick. Place wrapped onion on baking sheet. Glaze each onion with the BBQ sauce.
Bake for 15-20 minutes and carefully turn onions. Bake another 15-25 minutes until bacon is browned and crispy.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
