We’ve been renewing our New Year’s resolutions around here which means “paleo” has been a buzzword quite often. As a busy girl, meal planning and preparation has just never worked for me. I don’t know if it’s the fact that I can’t sit still long enough to do it or the idea of going into a big box grocery store with all the fluorescent lights beating down on me while I will myself to walk past the oreos that makes it so overwhelming to think about. Either way, diet changes are hard for me. Enter “Paleo on the Go.” For a girl who likes to experience good food, it has been a God-send. I can honestly say I’ve had a delicious dinner every evening this week thanks to Paleo on the Go!
The food arrived frozen, in an awesome little cooler. All the instructions are on the bags of food (thank goodness!) and prep time is minimal. I would decide what I wanted for dinner every morning, let it thaw out in the refrigerator while I was at work, and come home to a meal that took a maximum of 30 minutes to prep! Plus, if I’m feeling a little creative, there’s great ways to add my own flair to many of the dishes! For instance, since we’re bacon lovers around here, I cooked up a little No-Sugar bacon to crumble up in my Pork and Green Chile stew (it was a match made in heaven, by the way).
As a whole, Paleo on the Go offers a service I never knew I needed so desperately! They take all the fuss out of healthy meal planning!
Check out their meal plans on their website and be sure to let them know we sent ya! Although, we’re pretty sure they’re our BFF’s now… they just don’t know it yet.
