All across the nation the temperatures have been topping out in the 40's but not in CA! It was beautiful this past weekend, complete with temps in the high 70's. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get out of the valley, take a drive through the mountains and breath in some ocean air! So I decided to grab my camera and do a photo-trek to Malibu. I decided to take Topanga Canyon, which is a small winding road through the mountains that spits you out, 10 miles later, right at the water!

Bacon Cooking Tip

Bake It: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place wire racks on a jelly-roll pan. Arrange a single layer of bacon on the racks and bake to desired crispness, 15 to 20 minutes. No need to turn the slices!
