Become The Paleo Cookout Queen With This No Sugar Hamburger Recipe
Big is not an appropriate word to describe our family. Our family is HUGE! We have aunts, uncles, nana, papa, cousins twice removed, brothers, sisters, you name it and we’ve got at least one in our family! As the Paleo Cowgirl, it is important for me to share my favorite Paleo recipes using only the best all natural no sugar meat products. This past weekend we had the Annual Fall Family Cookout. Everyone was invited and this year, the Cooking Cowboy and I were to host the cookout at our ranch. This recipe calls for either ground beef or Pederson’s Natural Farms 90/10, no sugar ground bison and I just couldn’t help but wrap it with our Whole 30 approved bacon.
A cookout just isn’t a cookout without a delicious juicy burgers! So I threw together my Bacon-Wrapped Curry Burgers on Sweet Potato Buns. It really is the perfect no sugar hamburger.
The cool thing about this recipe is you can either use ground beef or some of Pederson’s Natural Farms Ground Bison for the burgers! It all depends on what flavor you’re looking for. The cook-time for the burgers and the sweet potato buns is the same so you can whip these up, toss them in the oven, and go enjoy your family until the buzzer rings!
The sweet potatoes compliment the curry seasoning wonderfully! We love sweet potato fries at our house so bringing the sweet potato and buger together was a no brainer! Sweet potatoes are also an excellent source of vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium and so many other great nutrients!
Try these burgers at your next cookout and I promise you won’t be dissappointed!
Until, next time y’all!
