Crispy Brown Sugar Bacon
This is one of my favorite Saturday morning breakfast rituals. It satisfies my need for bacon and sweet tooth all at once!

Time: 30 minutes
1 pound Pederson's Natural Farms peppered bacon
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
Cut bacon slices in half.
Put sugar in a shallow dish. Dredge bacon in sugar mixture, shaking off excess.
Twist each bacon slice, if desired. Place bacon in a single layer on a lightly greased baking rack in an aluminum foil-lined baking pan.
Bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes or until crisp. Allow bacon to cool before serving.

Bake It: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place wire racks on a jelly-roll pan. Arrange a single layer of bacon on the racks and bake to desired crispness, 15 to 20 minutes. No need to turn the slices!
